Anna Has been adopted.! Anna has been adopted by Joan Kent a long time NEWFFLA member. Anna is a great success story. She was picked up at a no kill animal shelter in Franklin county and at 70 pounds she was painfully thin, heart worm positive and infested with hookworms. Anna was spayed cleared of hookworms and has begun heartworm treatment. In spite of all these issues Anna is a sweet girl who best time is lying by your feet and getting hugs. Oh she loves to eat and has put on about 5 pound and her once dull coat has turned shinny.
She is at home with Joan , a sheep dog , another Newfie and a cat.

Thank You Joan!

Anna is available for rescue. She is three years old, very sweet and very thin. She has been shaved. She was turned in at Franklin County Animal Shelter, a no-kill shelter. They tested her and found her to be heartworm positive. She is currently under treatment for this. Anna is available for the right family. Older children, and maybe some cats will be ok. Anna has gotten along with other dogs, if introduced. Probably another male dog would be best. Anna is up to date on all vaccinations and is spayed. She comes with the medication for heartworm treatment.
